About We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym in Cincinnati, OH
Taylor and Angela are both Cincinnati natives who have wanted to contribute more to their community.
They were inspired to open a new gym by their nephew and grandson who was diagnosed with fine motor and sensory-related disabilities in 2015. The sense of community and joy that sensory gyms brought him and his family encouraged Taylor and Angela to seek out the opportunity of owning their own sensory gym.
Taylor currently works as a Recreation Therapist with kids and teens with disabilities. He enjoys being able to see them grow through the concept of play. Inclusion is important to both Taylor and Angela and they are eager to provide a We Rock the Spectrum gym to the Cincinnati community as a place where everyone feels included and welcome!
Our gym includes
- Suspended equipment with swings for balance and vestibular treatment
- Crash mats and crash pillows for fun, motor planning, and strength
- Tunnels & Zip line
- Trampolines for building leg and core strength
- Indoor play structure for climbing and increasing playground skills
- Sensory-based toys
- FINE MOTOR PLAY TOYS AND EQUIPMENT
- ARTS AND CRAFTS AREA WITH CHALKBOARD
